Dental clinic fitout process begins
The fit out process for the dental clinic has begun. A new dentist is coming to Seven Hills. Watch this space
Designing a dental clinic is different from designing any other type of retail shop or office space. The design of a dental clinic needs to take into account electricity, water, waste disposal, chemical hazards, drainage, data points, and many other considerations. The design and fit out of the dental clinic involves laying out the floor plan, building and sometimes even modifying the office’s infrastructure for the unique needs of the dental practice.
We chose to use Commodore Fit Outs for our project. We had to sit down and let them know how many surgery rooms we wanted, whether we wanted a staff and admin room, space for sterilisation and lab work, space for a waiting area and kids area, and space also for an OPG and lateral ceph machine to take dental x-rays. We then had to talk to the designer about the spacing and sizing and placement of all the rooms and then have these designs approved by the shopping centre management and council approval.
Before we got the go ahead, we needed to make sure the contract was all signed and insurance all sorted out before the fit out process could begin. It has been a long journey already but we look forward to the completion and opening of Capstone Dental. We will aim to be the dentist that serves the community of Seven Hills, Toongabbie, Lalor Park, Winston Hills, Girraween, Prospect, Blacktown, Kings Langley, Bella Vista, Baulkham Hills, Northmead, Constitution Hills, Pendle Hill, Westmead, Wenworthville, Greystanes, Pemulway, Huntingwood, Glenwood, Doonside and other areas in the Hills, North West and Western Suburbs
